    
Homecoming 2007 - Letter from the Director
Dear Rebels,
“The Golden Anniversary” is upon us at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas! At universities nationwide, Homecoming is a time used to promote school spirit, celebrate alumni, bring together community members, and continue school traditions. As UNLV celebrates its 50th Birthday we will bring back some old traditions and take a look into the past as we jump towards the future! The 2007 celebration will begin with our Window Decorating Contest on Sunday, October 14th thru the Rebel Football game vs. Colorado State University on Saturday, October 20th. So get ready to welcome back alumni and to show your school spirit at one of UNLVs most honored traditions.
Planning has been underway since last spring for UNLVs “The Golden Anniversary!” Homecoming. The Rebel Pride Council Homecoming Committee has put together this informational handbook that will help guide you through a successful Homecoming. It contains all the activities, rules and regulations and even ways to help get you more involved.
We encourage you to be a part of this season’s activities as we share the UNLV spirit with new students, alumni and the surrounding community. Throughout the week there will be many events in which you can join in to celebrate our 50th Birthday!
